Founder and Senior Partner of M/s Y&A Legal, a Law Firm based in Mumbai with offices in Dubai, New Delhi and London The Firm consists of a dedicated and competent team of over 34 Advocates along with several paralegals and interns I regularly appear in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India at Civil side and Constitutional Side, the Bombay High Court and various other State High Courts. I also appear in the National Consumer Commission at New Delhi and the Hon’ble Competition Commission of India at Delhi. Several landmark reported judgments have been passed in matters where I have appeared and argued.

I hail from a family of Advocates. My father Mr. Iqbal M. Yusuf was practicing for over 43 years prior to his demise in 2009. Likewise, my sister is also an Advocate and so is my brother-in-law. My wife, Mrs. Suruchi Deshpande-Yusuf and father-in-law, Mr. Sudhir W. Deshpande (Retd. Joint Commissioner - FDA, Maharashtra) are also Advocates and have their own independent practice. This legal family background has stood me in good stead and has shaped my outlook towards law.

I am honoured to have been conferred with membership of the International Council of Jurists having it’s Head Office in London, United Kingdom. This Council is headed by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Awn S Al-Khasawneh, the Hon’ble Judge of the International Court of Justice alongwith Hon’ble Chief Justices of several Countries. I have also had the honour of conducting training programs for the All India Drug Control Officers Confederation (AIDCOC), the apex body for Drug Control Officers in India. These training programs have been held in various States in India over the last several years and I have trained Drug Control Officers in provisions of law related to search and seizure as well as gathering and protection of evidence and means of investigation and preparation of charge-sheet I am in charge of all legal matters of the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD), a Premier body of Wholesale and Retail Chemists all over India consisting of about 6.8 lakh chemist outlets in the country I am also a Managing Committee member of the Muslim Ambulance Society and also the Memon Educational and Welfare Society as well as the Executive Committee Member of the All India Memon Jamat Federation I have also actively participated in several pro-bono and Human Rights bodies for providing free legal aid to the deserving
